Hello, I’m Si.
Independent financial planner, [X] years in recruitment before that, and easy to get hold of.

My story
Simon Lees on paper, Si to everyone else.
I worked in recruitment for [X] years. [Si: a line or two on what you did and where.] In that time I watched a lot of people earn very good money and reach their forties and fifties without much to show for it. Nobody was advising them.
So I retrained. I hold the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, which is the DipPFS after my name. I’m an independent adviser, which means I can recommend from across the market and have nothing of my own to sell.
I also have an Executive MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, and I’m a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. That is useful if you own a business, because I can follow the company’s side as well as yours.
People ask about the name. My parents and my partner’s parents gave us some money to buy our first house together, and Staltosi is a blend of their names. It’s our way of honouring them and saying thank you.
How I work
I start with you
Before any talk of pensions, I’ll ask what you want from the next ten or twenty years. The money only makes sense once we know what it’s for.
Part planner, part coach
A lot of my work is helping people think through decisions: a move, a business idea, when to stop. Some of that is regulated financial advice and some is a conversation, and I’ll always tell you which is which.
I keep it simple
A lot of financial advice sounds more complicated than it is. I’ll explain what I’m recommending in plain English, and if you don’t follow it, that’s my fault and I’ll try again.
I’m in it for the long term
I offer one ongoing service, the same for everyone, and I plan to be your adviser for a long time.
You can ring me
Clients have my number. Use it. Ask me before you make the decision, while I can still be useful.
Who this suits
People who want one adviser who knows them and their plans, and who stays in touch for years.
If you want the cheapest way to buy a fund, an app will do that well. And if you’re after share tips, I haven’t got any.
